Miracles and Momentum

Miracles are the building blocks upon which momentum is built. A simple tweak in your perception of how you define a miracle is sometimes all it takes to shift your momentum and set you on the path to success. Let’s take a closer look at the anatomy of a miracle in order to understand its relationship to momentum and success .

How many times have you prayed for a miracle to happen in your own or someone else’s life? If you’re like me, the numbers are probably pretty high. What, in your opinion, constitutes a miracle, though? Is it being in the right place at the right time? Is it having something larger than you’d expect to have happened actually happen?

While there’s certainly nothing wrong with classifying such events as miracles, we sometimes forget to see the infinite number of small miracles that are unfolding all around us on a daily basis. What’s more is that we fail to use these miracles to build momentum and shift the winds in our favor. Sometimes, when we think about miracles as having to be these big grandiose occurrences that happen only once in a while, we forget about all of the countless times our prayer requests have been answered.

Miracles are unfolding all around you. Are you open to receiving them?

Just think about the fragility of life for a moment. With all of its uncertainties and complexities, it truly is a miracle that you were given this day to live and have somehow found your way in this time and place to read this article. The mere fact that you have the ability read this article is a miracle in and of itself. Think about what it signifies on a deeper level;  it may just help you shift your mindset and momentum. Honestly, let’s take a moment to break it down:

It means you have been given another day of life in which to love and be loved. MIRACLE!

It means you have the gift of vision to read this article. MIRACLE!

It means you have the gift of literacy and can read and interpret the content you are currently looking at. MIRACLE!

It means you have the technological means by which to see this article and connect with others all over the globe via the web. MIRACLE!

The list goes on and on… throw a little gratitude into the mix and you’ll start to see even more miracles unfold around you. That’s exactly how the Creator responds. It’s truly an amazing and eye-opening perspective to adopt… one that creates more abundance, momentum, and prosperity all around. The more you stop to recognize and appreciate the miracles you already receive each day, the more you’ll receive.

Miracles are Unfolding All Around You

Speaking of miracles, did you know that what you choose to focus on each morning has the ability to impact your entire day? When you awake each morning, start by giving thanks to the Almighty for giving you another beautiful day in which to love and be loved. Focus on the positive things that are happening in and around you.

Take note of the beautiful sunrise as it graces Mother Earth with its breathtaking hues. Listen to the sounds of the birds chirping, and feel the positive energy that is all around you. Tune in to the miracles that are unfolding all around you. As you allow the positive energy to envelope you, visualize yourself at the base of a mountain; see yourself moving one step at a time as you transcend gravity, determined to conquer the obstacle in front of you. With each step, your momentum builds. Step by step. Steady and strong, you keep going. Suddenly you stop and look down. You realized that your momentum has carried you this far and you are AMAZED! Only a few more steps stand between you and the summit; between you and your goal. You feel energized and continue moving forward. Just a few more steps and you arrive. You pause and take in the majestic sites around you from atop the mountain. Breathtaking and MIRACULOUS! You’ve just experienced a miracle, indeed.

In short, a simple shift in your thinking can have a tremendous impact on how the day plays out.

Choose to use words that motivate you and those around you. Positive energy is contagious and like attracts like. Be a beacon of light for yourself and for others. Look for the miracles in any and every situation that happens throughout the day. Make it to work safely? Praise God. Arrive home safely? Praise God.

Above all else, be willing to open your heart, your mind, your body, and your soul to the wondrous miracles that God has to offer. From this moment forward, let Divine love guide your every thought and assist you in every decision you make. May you allow this love to be the driving force behind your thoughts and actions and the very thing that gives meaning to your life. Then, and only then will you begin to see that the miracles you’ve been praying for are right in front of you. Be blessed always.
